RYAN & MELISSA HUMPHREY – TEAM EXPANSION – EL SALVADOR
We are the Humphreys! God has blessed us with a large family and an equally large heart for the people of El Salvador.
The Central American country of El Salvador is home to three of the largest gangs in the world. These gangs survive on extortion and recruitment of teens into their lifestyle. We have experienced first-hand the need for the Gospel in gang-controlled neighborhoods through short term trips over the past 9 years. God has placed on our heart a passion and vision to see a disciple-making movement (DMM) happen inside the gang culture of El Salvador.

Voice of the martyrs
The Voice of the Martyrs is a nonprofit, interdenominational Christian missions organization dedicated to serving our persecuted family worldwide through practical and spiritual assistance and leading other members of the body of Christ into fellowship with them. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned for 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ; his wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In 1965 they were ransomed out of Romania, and soon thereafter they established the global network of missions of which VOM is a part. The Wurmbrands based these missions on Hebrews 13:3, which instructs us to “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.”

TEAM EXPANSION – ISRAEL
D & M live in northern Israel, in the Golan Heights, next to the Syrian and Lebanese borders. Using a combination of social media outreach and personal contacts, they currently minister to the Golani Druze, who live in the surrounding villages. Their vision is to see the Gospel powerfully take hold in this area, and to equip those who come to faith so that they might be effective witnesses in their home villages, training up new disciples who can continue the work among their own people by planting indigenous churches. D & M know that many prayer intercessors are needed to help break down the spiritual strongholds which have held this region in darkness for so long, and so—for those who are interested in joining this crucial effort—people can sign up at https://www.pray4druze.com where they will receive periodic updates about the ministry and how to pray effectively. Along with the daily ministry to the Golani Druze, the Lord has given D & M the opportunity to host small groups who want to know how the proclamation of the Good News is impacted by the ever-changing geopolitical situation in Israel and the Middle East, and the promises of the prophetic scriptures in both the OT and NT which will come to pass in this area.
